Not sure if any of you are baseball fans but living 45 min. outside Philly, I almost have to be a Phillies fan !
I haven't watched much until tonight. And now there is a rain delay. We are having ugly weather, heavy rain, about 38 degrees, supposed to have wet snow in the morning-in October?!! I don't remember it snowing this early ever.
Anyone following the Series?

I have no specific goal(s) right now. I am trying to find the spiritual side of myself that I lost somewhere along the way.
Well, the game was rescheduled for today but because Philly had horrible weather yet again, it is tomorrow. We had rain/sleet and even a little snow today here in PA! Unbelievable on Oct. 28th!!
There is major Phillies Fever here.
My company is scheduled to host an exhibit next week at Citizen's Bank Park-where the Phil's play their home games. I have to wonder, if the weather keeps up, if our meeting will be postponed? I have to say that it would be very cool to have the Phillies "hanging around" CBP next week when we are there! We always see the Phillie Phanatic(their mascot) and he certainly livens up our meeting.
I am so not a baseball phan (had to spell it like that because of the Phil's!), but I am kinda getting caught up in the excitement!

I like the Rays well enough, and think it'd be neat for such a young, underpaid (by baseball standards) team to win, but after YEARS of them losing, I think it's awesome they're even IN the Series.
That said, I hope they win the suspended game, because we have tickets to Game 6! The stadium is only a couple of miles from our house. It's weird here, because so many people are from other places, and go to see the Rays mostly when they play the team they're REALLY rooting for. Every year (even when the Rays stink), the Red Sox and Yankees games are typically sell out because so many New Yorkers and Northeasters live here.
(I know I haven't been posting much, but I have been reading.)
Oh, yeah, I'm in World Series-watching mode. Glad to be in the warmth and comfort of my California home, but still watching and understanding what a true fan you have to be to sit in the rain and cold. I'm a Pennsylvania native so I'd like to see the Phillies win (sorry Diana).
That said, I do prefer to see the World Series go to seven games every year. That way, baseball season lasts as long as possible. Hey, I'm in the Bay Area and there's not a lot of football to get excited about.
