Ske, Yes, it is probably a little overripe. The good thing about avocados when they've "gone bad" is that they smell HORRIBLE! You can definitely tell that they are bad. So give that puppy a sniff, and if it smells ok, enjoy it. I always just cut the bruised part off and enjoy the rest of it just as I would normally.

That isn't uncommon. It is over ripe or bruised (think of what bananas do). You can eat it. I like Bee's idea of making guac. Dawn
