One way to release tension in neck and shoulders.

With your arms at your sides, imagine you are carrying a heavy weight in heach had so that your shoulders are pulled toward the floor. Hold for 5 seconds. Now imagine dropping the weights to the floor and feeling the tension release. Repeat 5 times.
