I saw "Weighing In" for the first time this week and I have to say it is a really fun show. It combines a weight-loss makeover with a clothes-and-hair makeover and lots of good tips and recipes. I thought it was pretty inspirational to see the change they made in just a few months. Nothing ridiculous like "Biggest Loser," but 20-40 pounds can make a huge difference in someone's appearance.
I saw the episode with the boxer and the married couple. They all looked great at the end.

What I like best about "Weighing In" is that not everyone is successful. Just this week, they lost 40-30-20 lbs. each; other shows they lose only a few pounds and you can see their lack of sticking to it. You're right, KD did it best!

They must have changed the time it airs or else my routine has changed, because I used to see it pretty regularly and now I haven't seen it for maybe a month or more. I wondered if they'd canned it for the new season, in fact. Glad to hear it's still around.
Juan Carlos's voice and manner are like nails on a chalkboard to me, but I will still watch Calorie Commando OR Weighing In because the information being provided is valuable. And, let's face it, there are SO few shows on TV about healthy eating that I feel I need to support the few that are on!
Rest of Summer Goals: 1. Exercise-Cardio: Min. 2-3 walking or DVD cardio workouts per week. 2. Exercise-Weights/Toning: Min. 1 weight plus 1 toning workout per week. 3. Food: Get those veggie servings back up to where they were! 4. Behavior: Start reducing sweets now that the automatic after-meal response is better.
