I am fluxuating between being down the full 5 pounds and being down 4.5 pounds. Alomst there!
However, we are going to a wedding today. I will have to be careful with food. I don't think the food will be hugely amazing. I plan, to just have my served portion of chicken and sides and then a small slice of cake. (I love wedding cake!)
What I need to do is to stay away from bar snacks and the desert buffet put out after dinner and before the wedding cake. None of those calories would be worth it to me.
How are you all doing? Will the weekend fit in with your weight loss plans?
Brie, you said you are going for another 5. I could do that too. That would put me as low as the cardiologist said I need to go to do all I can do to control my lipids. Plus, I think it would put me squarely in a size 4. (Right now I seem to be a 4/6- it gets a bit frustrating sometimes to be in between.) It would, however,, be as low as I have ever gone. Something a bit scarey about that for me.
At least I am down as of this morning. Hopefully it will stay that way.
I know they do nothing but EXTREME EXERCISE all day, every day but I still don't understand how these Biggest Losers can lose 12 or 13 lbs in just one week.
I think I finally hit the 5 # mark today!!!! (I think I was still at 194 when we started this challenge.) Even if I'm off a bit on that, I am still celebrating the 189.0 on my scale this AM!!!
Plus, I'm out of the 190s. Now the hard part is getting far enough away that I can stay out of them over the weekend when there will be 2 meals out because of the retreat I'm going on.
Life is like a roller coaster, with lots of ups and downs, but the curves, spirals, loops and corkscrews are what make life interesting.
I'm still holding at 190.0, but expect to be down a little bit more by Friday. I've been really careful with food & have upped my exercise a little bit, like the 1/8 mile I added to the mile I swim on Mondays.
I'm tentatively planning a "biggest loser" style "boot camp" for myself as soon as school ends in December. That gives me 4 weeks to bump up my exercise and get some extra weight off.
(Before everybody tells me to not go crazy , I'm only talking about a 30 min. walk each day in addition to my normal exercise 5 days per week and maybe an extra 30 min. walk on both of my rest days. I have no intention of doing anything stupid, since I don't want to injure myself and risk falling out of half marathon shape. )

I am also fluxuating by 2 lbs but at least the range is a lb lower than it used to be.
I will keep going another 5 lbs. That would put me at my next mini-goal on my way to my ultimate goal of 150 by Feburary (when I see my doctor again).
The new fitday no longer has a screen that says "you need to lose "xx" lbs per day to meet your goal". Or, if it does, I haven't found it yet. There are some changes I like and some that I don't.
I was down 4 the last time I weighed in (2 days ago).
This weekend should be fine in terms of eating but next weekend we have a big party that I'm co-hosting and the following weekend in our belated anniversary trip which will include a major splurge meal.
I know that I'll be still working off the initial 5 when we come back from that trip. I definitely want to lose another 5 as well so I would like to continue if there are others who are interested.
