It's week 48. What exercises are people planning/doing this week?

I kicked of the week with 1.4 miles of lawn mowing on Sunday.

Saturday: 1 hour and 25 minute powerwalk

Saturday would usually be my aerobics class day but I awoke this a.m. feeling a strain or something in my pectoral/breastbone region so, knowing how active that class is and how hard it makes me breath, I figured it might not be the best thing for me today. Since it was another pretty day, I headed out for a powerwalk. I didn't push it quite as hard as I usually would to keep my breathing from getting too hard but I still walked up my usual long, steep hill and walked a few miles. Sure was getting hot by the time I got home, but it felt great when I left. Smiler

Done.
45 minutes.
I liked the walk a lot and I really moved.
I think that I sometimes suffer from inertia. It is tough to get started after a few days of light exercise, but once I get going I can maintain pretty easily and I enjoy the process.

I had an unplanned off day today. I woke up with a terrible headache and, when I laid back down after deciding not to exercise, I goofed in resetting the alarm so I was an hour late to work. Frowner

Since I didn't get any intentional exercise done on Monday (tho I did cart 4 loads of laundry back and forth down the street in the heat), I need to exercise Friday, Saturday and SUnday to keep my schedule of 5 days a week.

Thursday: 4.37 miles parkwalking.

Wow, with all of the rain we have had, it sure is lush, and green, and growing like crazy, out there.

They have all manner of trails; blacktop trails, mowed trails, dog walking trails, and "walking challenged" trails.

Not doing well at getting back on the exercise wagon after vacation. Sunday is usually my off day from exercise and I was really tired yesterday so I lazed about and just unpacked, grocery shopped and such. Today, I carted 4 loads of laundry back and forth down the street to the laundry room and sweat enough that it FELT like I was exercising cuz it was HOT today! But no intential exercise today either. Plan to get to the gym tomorrow, my last day of vacation before I return to work.

went swimming this morning, and it was wonderful.

I'll be joining you in the lawn mowing as soon as I get a mower.
