GRAB food---bad not worth the calories food. I just had one of those moments, but I grabbed a yogurt instead.
It is so hard to really stop and be aware of what is going on and say "you will get through this, the cookies won't help, just get through it and you can find something WAY better than those cookies"

...I do nibble and eat when frustrated....sweets, carbs...take out...I try to bring tea bags to work so I can have a cup of tea or coffee instead of eating something....The tea does help ...although it does not help when someone brings in a tray of cupcakes....
Mine is sort of like Judy's. I sort of just want to veg out so that can mean I will skip exercising or I will grab take-out or other less-healthy options. I too will sometimes comfort stress with food but more often it's wanting to give myself time to decompress but I choose things that really if I would just follow through with them, would also make me feel better. What I would like to do is remember to breathe and just take a few minutes and not let myself talk myself into a tizzy.
