I wanted to avoid an injury (ice and snow everywhere) so I went to the gym and ran on the treadmill. The change in surface (I'm used to concrete) was enough to cause the warning signs of a stress fracture. As of now, my foot is painful in one spot if I poke at it, but I can walk on it. Today's a rest day and lots of RICE-ing, tomorrow is a bike/strength day.
Tuesday I'll try to get out for a short run (I'm never touching a treadmill ever again!) outside or in the parking deck at school. If that is too much, it'll be elliptical or bike city for me.This message has been edited. Last edited by: Coaster Girl,
Life is like a roller coaster, with lots of ups and downs, but the curves, spirals, loops and corkscrews are what make life interesting.
