Well, we're here. We still don't have internet access. I'm at work so I may not have too long.

So far I love the house and it seems like a great neighborhood. I started work yesterday, and sadly, the commute is still quite a bit longer than I was anticipating. I may have to play around with different ways to get here to see if I can cut it down some. It isn't AS bad as it was in Atlanta, but still at least 45 minutes and that is coming in early and leaving early to miss the really bad rush hour traffic.

We bought bikes last week, so we're going to try to start biking together as a family activity. (I REALLY need to get into cycling shape. I was really sore after only a short distance the first day. DH couldn't believe I couldn't go farther. I said "I haven't been on a bike in 20 years, give me a chance!")

Most of last week was unpacking and yesterday I started my new "old" job.

That's it in a nutshell.

Dawn

Thanks everyone. So far it is going pretty well. I'm still a little stressed about not having sold the house in GA. I know it will sell eventually, it would just be nice to have that albatross off our necks.

Brie, it is as permanent as I want it to be.

Mary Jo, OHHHH, thanks. I need to look for one of those. Those bones do hurt.

Dawn

Congratulations Dawn!! God bless you all in your new home!!! Glad you got bikes too....that is my favorite exercise. Get a gel seat. Actually you can get the wide seat and put the gel cushion over it! It helps the initial gluteal soreness in the beginning. I remember thinking that even the bones in my butt hurt!!

All the best on your new job also!! A new adventure....how exciting!! mj

Welcome back Dawn! I'm so glad you are moved in and getting settled!!!

Is your new "old" job permanent or temporary?
