I am much better at talking and than I am posting but hopefully you all can understand my meaning...if not, I'm sure some of these other ladies can step in.
I use Photobucket.com. It is a free (or you can pay for more space) service to upload your photos onto their site. You can also choose for your account to be private. Make sure you do choose this option if you do want your photos to be private.
After uploading your photos....
Well, maybe I should start with "how to upload photos"..
After you set up and sign into your account, there will be a box that says "Upload images or Video". You have the option to "browse" pics from your computer or post a web url to upload a picture from the internet. This may take a few seconds or a few minutes.
To post a picture to this message board:
There will be 3 codes under each of your photos...Url, Tag and Img. When I posted my pics here, I highlighted the "Img" code, copied it and pasted it into my post.
You can also highlight the "Url" code, copy it, click on the little picture option at the top of this window (the picture with the palm tree beside the envelope) and paste the Url code into that. The first way is a bit quicker and easier.
Hope this is a little more clear than mud!!! LOL!!!!
Good job, Jill! I see ya got it worked out! Cute dogs--I think you'd sent me a pic of Max some time ago in email after I was telling you about my buddy Paco the Bichon.

A picture of me at a Red Hat Lunch with Alexis, my godson's youngest.
A group picture of "The Dixie Darlings of Stone Mountain". It was taken at Mitties in Alpharetta. (Not sure that is the way the restaurant is spelled)
Dena is front left & has lost (50lbs since this was taken) and I am peeking out from behind her.
The lady behind me is Ernee, my best friend from college & Dena's godmother. The lady behind Ernee is my sister. The lady and baby across from Dena is Teresa & Alexis, Ernee's dil and 3rd granddaughter. You can still join a Red Hat group even if you are less than 50YO but you have to wear pink & lavendar instead of Red & Purple.

No, it doesn't. I just went to the picture and then cut and pasted the URL here using the image function. I'll have to check with Jen and see what she did, since she used Flickr too.

Hmmm, I'm not sure Sheri. Does flickr have different codes..ie..Url, Tag and Img like photobucket? If so, trying C&Ping the Img code directly into your post.

Here's a picture of me (on the right) and Lynne (mountaingirl) when we met in Boston a few weeks ago. Important disclaimer: I was on vacation, and hence wearing no makeup! Be kind.
