NOT SO MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE OF THE DAY!

"No diet will remove all the fat from your body because the brain is entirely fat. Without a brain, you might look good, but all you could do is run for public office."

--George Bernard Shaw

How is everybody doing? Babysteps are good!

No need to lose too much, too soon and lose your mind, too. Smiler

On plan today. The weekend coming up will be a challenge- I will need to post detailed food plans and make sure to stick to them.
It should be easier to be on plan now that I have been on plan.

I was not on plan and struggled today because we ate dinner late. That really seems to be a recipe for disaster for me.

Out of our beliefs are born deeds; out of our deeds we form habits; out of our habits grows our character; and on our character we build our destiny.

Getting thrown for major loops. Last night, we had an unplanned dinner out because BIL was in town for business and unexpectedly free for the evening. Haven't seen him in more than a year, so I couldn't turn it down. It was fun, but somehow I found myself sharing a decadent dessert (I'll spare you the details, but there was nutella involved!) with DH, even after eating way more than I intended for dinner.

Today I got to the office and discovered I had left my wallet at home! This, on a day when I did not pack my lunch. So I have to either humbly ask a coworker for a loan or fast. Don't relish those choices. But if I don't eat anything all day, there will be an ugly, ugly scene in my kitchen when I get home.

I feel a little whiny, knowing that lots of people go hungry for a lot longer than a work day. I'll go have some more water and consider my options....

Today is babysteps for me. Didn't go to the gym, but did 20 mins with Denise Austin. Will go the rest of the week to make my goal. Said no to going out to lunch, since going out for dinner tonight with a friend (which I planned since last week), haven't been journaling for the last day and half, have been weighing myself everyday - not quite sure why - really ticked at being at 157 still, I guess. Planning on eating vegis out tonight, but will still enjoy.

Everything counts.

I loved it enough to send the quote away to college to my son! He will put it up in their "club" room, most of those kids are on healthy lifestyles, watch reruns of KD, and eat accordingly...they will truly enjoy it.

Talk about unmotivational day...I have a day from ickyville. Too much to do, not enough time to plan the week, and it shows it. I feel it. BUT, it doens't mean the whole week is lost. It means, I have learned another valuable lesson, plan, plan and over plan. Too many meals on the run, too little food in the frig and I've been surviving on Jarrod's SW diet this week. UGH! Swimming is good...but..painful somedays...I keep moving on...and doing the exercises not the laps.

So motivation is not high, but determination to make it better is.

That is a funny quote, have to remember that one!

Oh Denise, remember talking about the goo gone stuff? Well I looked up on the web...on how to remove sticky glue from a tshirt. One of them said use duct tape, press firmly and rip off..and the glue will go with it...well it worked beautifully. Gee, yet another use for duct tape. I guess it's kind of like waxing..it'll take it all off.

The beauty part of this? I got 20% off of the tshirt, because of the glue..now there is none, and I saved money Smiler Love that.
