So I really don't want to eat because I am stressed or emotional right now. Earlier this morning the baby would not nurse nor would really take much of a bottle from me.

I asked my DH, who loves to things HIS way, and I had to beg for him to do it the way I wanted him to, etc... Finally the baby got some milk and we were able to start our errands.

I totally flipped out because I was forecasting the baby being upset while we were running errands.

Then I got home and made a quick sammie for lunch and then it was lunch time for the baby. Well, this became quite an ordeal too.

I just put him down for his afternoon nap and of course I am tempted to resort to food. But, instead I am having a vent session with myself here and then taking a nap myself.

Deep breaths, deep breaths, thanks everyone for letting me have a place to vent.

Steph,

Babies! Ya gotta love 'em, but they are not always the least bit cooperative.

Denise gave you good advice. His just about at the teething age.

Hugs and congrats for venting this way rather than eating. High five!

Big, big hugs. Great job posting here.
I can relate to wanting to stress eat after the immediate stress. It seems like when I am post crisis, I am way more vulnerable to overeating.
I usually need lots of rest and sleep after a stressful time.

Take gentle care.

Hey Steph, sorry you're feeling so stressed.
Is baby feeling ok? Sometimes they don't eat when they are sick or getting sick.

Also, sometimes they just don't eat as well for one day and then they're back to normal.

I guess what I'm getting at is if he isn't sick, then don't stress too much about him not eating well for a day or even two. If it goes on more than that, then you might want to consult the pediatrician. Sometimes things like teething, and what not can just make them not want to eat.

Hope it all goes smoother.
