Is everyone alright? Do any of you have relatives at Virginia Tech? Praying for you all.
Hugs,
Lynne

Ok, apparently I need to make sure I watch TV tonight....what happened?

Blessings,

Only the worst massacre in U.S. history.

UM, no, that would still be September 11, 2001.

I think the media meant the worst shooting massacre in US history. Of course 9/11 was of much greater magnitude but they said this was the worst mass shooting in the history of not only a college campus but also the US.

What can we say? Sorry doesn't seem to fit this anymore than it did years ago at Columbine. But my prayers and thoughts are with the parents and students and citizens in VA, today. It is something that is so not-understandable and so senseless. God bless you all.

It's never too late to get it right.

I can't even begin to imagine the angst of the parents who have children at VA Tech.
What a horrible tragedy.

Out of our beliefs are born deeds; out of our deeds we form habits; out of our habits grows our character; and on our character we build our destiny.

It has been TV here all day long...and for most of that time, they really didn't know much. The body count (fatalities) kept growing from when I first turned on the TV until now.

As soon as I turned on the TV and saw it, I called a coworker who has a daughter in college in Virginia (but not Virginia Tech). She freaked out--she says she knows a LOT of kids in Virginia Tech.

I've been out the past few hours at a doctor's appointment and the drug store but I haven't heard anything yet about the motive. I just know that the shooter is dead.
