Sheri's post about being accountable and keeping goals in mind throughout the day has me thinking.
Today I wrote down my goals for the day and some of the goals I have in terms of the holiday season. I wrote down my food in detail and also wrote some postive affitmations about deserving to be thin.
It seemed to work. Although everything that I wrote down was stuff I knew and have posted here, writing it at 10AM made it more present to my day and helped me be present to it throughout the day.
I used a scrap paper and then just tossed it in my handbag- nothing formal, but the act of writing helped me a lot.
I am going to make an effort to jot down my thoughts, wants, goals and stuff more often BEFORE I eat off plan and give up on myself or try to whiteknuckle it through barely staying in calorie range.
Sandy, I know that when I was faithfully logging my weight on an Excel spreadsheet (first) and then started logging everything in Fitday, I really did a lot better. I'm trying to get back into that habit.
