Today is Thursday...a day for no more excuses. It's almost the weekend, so let's set ourselves up for success before the weekend gets here.

Instead of reaching for that extra cup of coffee, soda, or tea, reach for an extra cup of water. 8 ounces, is all you need. It's time to get serious about drinking water, and taking really good care of your body. If you replace 2 cups of something else with water, move on to the homework for people who already drink plenty of water as a bonus for doing so good.

If you are one of the small number of people on the boards who always drinks enough water pretty early in the day, take 15 minutes and find something to reward yourself for having such a good habit in place already.

Sustain this habit until the weekend is over. Make it challenging.

Lately I've been terrible about not getting in my water! Winter time always has this effect on me. It's easy for me in summer when it's 99 degrees to chug my water, but when I'm cold I don't want it so much except after exercise. I know I really need to change this. My goal is to drink 3 16oz. bottles from now till Sunday and if I accomplish this I'll get a new shade of lipstick.

I have always been good about drinking water, but lately I've taken to diet soda with dinner. I don't know why, I was just feeling "burnt out" on water - it's basically all I drink other than the occasional glass of wine or tea. I don't drink coffee and the tea and soda is always decaf. SO, today, back to the water with dinner - I"ll add some lime or something to give it some flavor!

AS of Monday, I am cleared to swim again. That is success. Until then, I have my rubber band exercises to do to strengthen my shoulder. YEAH! Back on track and ready to roll.

Water, no problem, I am a fish and drink it AM, PM and night. Enought to make several trips to the bathroom 2 and 4 AM....but it's worth it.

The habit I need to form is exercise, so I'm gonig to go exercise on Saturday instead of drinking the extra water. I may drink the extra water anyway, as a result of the extra exercise though...

My habit is in place. I need a new nail file. I will pick one up at the grocery store today. (It is amazing how the little things can make me happy.)

Just for fun, I'm going to see if I can add an extra glass of water into my day. (I already drink about 72 ounces as it is, not counting the tea I drink at lunch.)
