Here's my plan for today:
E: Kettle bells (done)
B: same as yesterday (done)
L: family requested brunch so I'm planning on 1 waffle, 1 T of maple syrup and 1 breakfast sausage
S/D: will be at the football party. I figure I'll have roughly 1000 calories to play with and will be super careful. I'm not drinking alcohol as I'm on antibiotics so that will help.

I'll report how I did at the party tomorrow.

I think I did pretty well at the party and stayed under the 1000 calorie mark. We were there from 3:30 until 11 pm but there wasn't that much food and I drank plenty of water. I'm feeling pretty good about as it could have been much worse.

I bought a Snuggie for myself and my dd-LOVE them and I am buying the doggie snuggies too! I know one dog will LOVE it, the other may not but they are just too darn cute. I personally think everyone should own a snuggie, they are just awesome!!

I have no specific goal(s) right now. I am trying to find the spiritual side of myself that I lost somewhere along the way.

I feel like I did pretty good today in spite of not planning anything, just let the days activities dictate where and when we ate.

Started off with 1 biscuit and sausage gravy at the Southern Skillet. Went back home to walk and feed the dogs and discovered my cousin here visiting. Then we went to the Library where I discovered that I had left my purse at home (I was driving without my license Eeker) so we went back home to get it. Luckily the Library is close by. Then we went to Kroger for gas (about .20 cheaper than anywhere else). After that we went to Whole Foods and spent too much money Wink. Then we went back home, had lunch (Turkey sandwich like yesterday's) cleaned out the car and took the dogs for a long walk while we explored a new walking trail near our house that goes to a nearby park. When we got to the park we discovered a small dog park we did not know about before. Then we walked back to where the car was parked at the head (or end-depending on where you started Wink) of the trail. After that we went to Pet Smart for dog food and Dena bought Snuggies for both dogs (November is their birth month - 9 years old).
We took the dogs back home and then went to Trivia. We came in third in a field of 12-15 teams. Unfortunately this restaurant only pays out prizes to First and Second place. For dinner I had spaghetti with maranara sauce and only about about half of it. Also had some cheese toast and 1 zepaloi (sp?).
All in all, I don't think I overdid it too much considering all the walking I did today.

Tomorrow will be a challenge. We are going to an indian festival. This a new one. The only thing I know for sure is that I WILL have Fry Bread Big Grin and we are having breakfast at The Flying Biscuit.

Thankfully I am doing much better today. I still went for mostly comfort, carb foods, but I kept quantities down and I was super mindful of calories. I just had crackers and tea so that I am done eating for today.

I did a 20 minute walk today, but not much more. Tomorrow I am hoping for more improvement so that I feel well enough to get to the gym.

For me, it's a "tapering" day exercise-wise. I had a rowing practice early this morning, but the coach calls it an easy swing row. That means lower stroke rates and lighter pressure than tomorrow's race.

Had a banana before practice, two eggs scrambled and half a mini-bagel for breakfast, and leftover ground turkey, mashed sweet potato, and half a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch. Planning to make stuffed butternut squash for dinner. Maybe a TLC bar for afternoon snack.

Even though it's sunny outside, DS and I are going to watch a movie this afternoon. Both tired and needing some down time.

Done. Did 30 Day Shred #1.

Clothes are in the dryer. Smiler

I think that my challenge will be to day a 30 Day Shred... every day for 30 days.

From past experience... the Shred thing makes me retain water and/or gain on the scale, like crazy... or making me crazy. However, it made me feel great and ready for ski season. So I'm going back to tape measuring self and as long as I feel good... I'm not going to obsess about the scale TOO much.

I'm leaving for the airport in 4 hours and a HUGE part of me wants to use that as an excuse not to exercise. Oh... and my beloved elliptical has died. Frowner

I'm going to put a load of laundry in and do a 30 Min Shred while the washer agitates.
