Well, I finally made the decision. I did not renew my membership to the gym I never went to because it had no babysitting. We bought a
Gold's Gym Crosstrainer 510. Man is it hard!!!!!! Never been on one of these before. My first time on it I lasted for 3 minutes - at No resistance - and was completely out of breath!!! Thought my heart would pound out of my chest. Anyway, I'm up to 5 min. now. Still very hard to do but little time is better than no time and I've already seen improvement over the past 2 weeks. 5 min. is sad...........but 5 min. is also better. Here's to seeing continued improvement.

It's a good start.
When I joined the Y, I could not go around the walking track even once without stopping to rest several times.
Little by little I got better, now, 9 months later I can do 17 laps (which is 1 mile). I still don't go very fast but I go Big Grin.
I am sure you will continue to improve.

5 minutes os GREAT!

We bought an elliptical trainer and I use it a day or two per week to supplement my gym work outs. It is wonderful having the option to hop on!

Keep it up Steph!
