I took myself out to a great restaurant last night. Barcelona in West Hartford.

I had a white wine sangria, mushrooms, duck breast, mashed potatoes, and flan.

I was so stuffed I couldn't finish the flan!

I think your tip was just fine it was over 20%. I think that anything over 15 is considered a good tip.

Your dinner sounds like it was great.

It was wonderful, my only concern is that maybe I didn't tip enough.

They comped me the flan. My waitress was wonderful, I explained that I have a wheat allergy, and she checked with the kitchen on a few dishes for me, had them dish up a side of mashed potatoes, because the other starches all had flour or bread, and took my mushrooms back when the kitchen sent them out on a nice crusty slab of bread... got me the mushrooms without bread....

I spent $30, and tipped $10. I somehow feel I should have tipped more.
