Its a four-hour-long session. The site does have something where you can figure out what time it starts for you.

And I am so proud of her. There was an article in the Courant yesterday, where I was quoted...

Cate,

I emailed a lot of family and friends about Pangeaday. Most had not heard but most were also very interested. Wow-so that is your sister that won the TED award?!!! I did read some of the info. What a great accomplishment. If I read the site correctly I can watch the movies online beginning at 2PM. I plan to watch, not sure exactly how long the movies run but thanks for posting this and making us all more aware.

Both. She started the whole thing when she won the TED prize. Her acceptance speech is on there somewhere, it explains a lot.

Could you host an event? Or see if your church/religious organisation/school would be willing for you to host something there? The more people that host, the more people will hear about it.

And I will definitely post.

Cate,

I read some of the info, didn't get a chance to read all of it but this does sound very interesting. Did your sister organize Pangea Day or is she responsible for the website or both? Either way-she worked very hard to bring together a lot of people.

I am surprised there are no events in Philly. At least I didn't see any, unless they are small, private events. Philadelphia is a city that fits the first lines of the description of Pangea Day-borders, difference, and conflict.

Please post after your event!

Jill

Just bumping to remind you all to watch, if you can, tomorrow.

There's been all kinds of PR on it, all kinds of articles, I am so proud of my sister, she has started something truly amazing.

I will be hosting an event. Please consider hosting in your town. This is truly a global movement...
