I was so rusty riding a real-life (as opposed to stationary) bike! It took me about 15 minutes before I remembered that I need to shift gears! Smiler I got half an hour of hard riding in and it felt really, really good.

Hi,

Way to go Jen! You need to get a star for the calendar (get those stars out, because of you you have been a great motivator with those stars I'm so focused!)

So GOOD JOB on the biking!!!

I love to bike and haven't since I was in high school, which has been a few years. We have a great new bike trail here that I would love to try. Guess maybe I just need to save up and get one. I would much rather be outside riding than indoors.

I got rusty just over the winter -- this was my first time out since last fall. I wear my helmet and stick to low-traffic roads. I love to go fast -- I got the bike up to 22 mph yesterday for a little while when the wind was at my back.

You are so brave! Smiler My sons got me a bike from the bike store last summer, and I couldn't get on the thing. I was scared to death of falling off...so it's sat in the garage since then. My youngest is a bike refurbisher and he had a bike come into the shop that has three wheels and a basket, I took it....now as soon as he can get it fixed up, I'll be riding...no driving.

Summer Challenge Goals:

1. Get out of the house and in the pool four days a week.
2. Schedule meals a week at a time.
3. five fruits and vegetables a day, along with water.

Smiler It has been so long since I've ridden a real bike (again, as opposed to a stationary bike) that I probably have forgotten when and how to shift gears Smiler

Blessings,
