I bought a new fridge!

This is loosely related to healthy eating because I was getting pretty crazed with my fridge lately and that leads to me not cooking sooooooo...I bought a new french door fridge tonight! I'm really silly excited about it but I think I will really enjoy having it and hopefully there will now be room for the overrun of CSA goodies I keep getting and maybe I'll get a few more of them cooked.

For once I found something good at a scratch and dent place so I saved about 25% over what I was looking at in the regular Sears store and got stainless even though that wasn't really what I was planning on buying. Now I have to wait a week for delivery but that's ok!

That IS exciting! I would love, love, love one of those but space is an issue for us. We have a side-by-side frige/freezer. The freezer is long and narrow so it is often hard to fit stuff in there (like a frozen pizza has to pretty much be jammed in diagonally, if at all). My kitchen is so small so I think that could be my only option.

Enjoy that new fridge! Like Brie-I too get very excited over new kitchen appliances.

Wonderful!

We got a "new" fridge just before Christmas.
My sister's neighbor moved and left their fridge behind. The new owner's did not want it so they let her have it and they brought it to mother & daddy. Our old one was in such bad shape it was becoming dangerous. The freezer part would not even keep ice cream frozen.
They also brought mother and daddy a new stove and a new microwave. The microwave has so many un-necessary functions that they get confused so I have covered up most of the buttons except the ones that set the cooking time and the start and stop buttons.

Just got a new roof put on last week. Boy am I glad THAT is over! Pound, pound, pound THUMP!! all day long (8-6) for 5 days.

Very cool Peg!
We got new windows installed yesterday and today. I'm not nearly as excited about those.

Congrats Peg! I get very excited over appliances - especially those of the kitchen variety ; )
