I just need to stay steady right now, with 4-5 days of exercise per week. Since this is the first week in my new job, I'm struggling to maintain some semblance of a schedule. But this will be enough to keep me exercising, so I'm just going to go with it.
Oh, and I am trying to maintain the pretty good habit that I started last week in stopping being productive to slow down my head 1 hour before I go to bed.

Life is like a roller coaster, with lots of ups and downs, but the curves, spirals, loops and corkscrews are what make life interesting.
I'm lovin this planner I really think good days and bad I will make a HUGE lifestyle change this year.
Ok now to the homework my commitment this week is to to do extra push-ups at Karate class and dust off the weights and make them part of this weeks fitness plan.
Another thing is going to be to stop and think before shoveling any kind of food that might not be in the good ,better ,best choices.
Have a Great week everyone.

Not letting myself skip workouts will be a bit ricky this week. But I managed to get up and work out this morning. For me I am going to start using 2 lb weighted balls with the 1 mile WATP. (I earned the weights for having a good week last week). I will use them for my three remaining workouts this week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.. I'm going to try to get in Sunday as well which will be one more than planned.

I love the daybook because it gives me a goal for the week, when I don't have the focus to determine one on my own! And exercise is one that typically falls by the wayside.
This week I will: - Not use depression or bad weather as an excuse to not exercise. - Dig out my old exercise videos and mix it up for fun. - Go to Sears where they're having a sale on exercise equipment, and invest in myself!

This is my first week back into the gym after being sick for 2 weeks. I need to be careful about easing back into things because my blood pressure is still rather low.
Today, I rode the bike and did some ab and hamstring work. Basically a 1/2 hour workout total and I don't think I would have been able to tolerate more.
I plan to workout every day for the rest of the week but focusing on some cardio and body weight only exercises. I'll probably do a day of ball work as well.
Hopefully by next week, I can add weights back in.
Out of our beliefs are born deeds; out of our deeds we form habits; out of our habits grows our character; and on our character we build our destiny.
Well, today was my first Car-Bo-Kick class. Twice a week, cardio kickboxing with some self defense techniques. I am really challenged when it comes to anything that has anykind of combined movements like in aerobics. A few times I thought I might not enjoy this class, but have decided to stick with it for a couple of months. I worked hard and learned some valuable things. I am also going to stick to my tennis on Tuesdays and get back on my bike a few days a week. Eventually I want to join the YMCA for some weight training, but don't want to overdo my enthusiasm right now.
