I get to spend 3-4 hours in the car with my mother today and tomorrow.

We are going to Alabama for lunch today and will be coming back tomorrow. It takes 3-4 hours to get there. It is a reunion of my Great-Grandmother's family.

Yes, I survived but only just .

We got up and left home at 7:30am Saturday morning. What is usually a 1 hour trip up I-75 to Cartersville turned into 2 hours. We spent the extra hour parked on I-75 because of construction. I say parked and not stopped because I actually had the car in Park! People were out of their cars and walking around in the road. Lots of cars drove across the shoulder of the road onto the access road and went back the other way and we saw several adults taking children into the woods on the other side of the access road. hehehe, I can't imagine they were doing. . Actually the most annoying part of that was listening to mother griping and complaining the entire time.
