With the holidays fast approaching, its more important than ever to keep up with our workouts. I plan to continue on with my 50 crunches a day, increase my chair sits to 22, and try to get a walk in during my lunch breaks this week (depending on how crowded the mall is)
How is everyone else doing? Last week was a rough one for me, but I hope to make up for it this week.

Was driving to the gym Friday after work, when the GF called and persuaded me to skip it and come home. *sigh*
Nonetheless, got in a nice 2 mile hike on Saturday. Took the dogs and headed to the local hot spring.
Unfortunately, to get to the hot spring, you have to cross an ice cold, waist deep, 20 ft wide river. We got about 4 ft from the shore before deciding it just wasn't worth it. Headed back to dry land for a little picnic and watched the dogs romp.
Sunday we spent most of the day doing some much-needed hardcore housecleaning.
Short gym visit planned for tonight, as we're meeting a friend for dinner at 5pm.

Ow. I had a coworker who went through this on a regular basis for years cuz her body kept making mass quantities of fluid-filled cysts in her breasts. I'm so glad you had some good news in there.
I'm almost 47, and these are the first ones I've had (that have bothered me)... She said that they are common in younger women. And if I understand correctly... they should all clear up after menopause... so maybe I only have a couple/three/four years. The needle part wasn't painful.

Thursday: TamiLee's Abs Program 1 from "I Want That Body"
This workout includes mass quantities of about 8 different varieties of crunches. I have never counted to see how many I'm doing in this workout but I keep meaning to do that. I'd guess I'm doing well over a hundred.

I spent yesterday's exercise time on the phone with dr's office trying to get an appt moved up. I was successful in pleading my case and was able to go in today.
Dr. did a needle biopsy... Took several oz. of fluid from the boob currently known as "pin cushion" and send off to lab. Fluid is good news... one lump still in there that had no fluid which needs more looking at (this is not cause for panic...)... have more appts scheduled.
Came home... ate some raw cookie dough... but not very much... took a much needed nap and then did elliptical machine for 40 mins.
1. Wanted to work off the cookie dough 2. Wanted to get in another day of exercise and the Holiday Resolution thread is a great motivation. 3. I ordered a used copy of the step book and it was sitting at the door when we got home and I sort of felt like a slug staying in bed longer than necessary. 4. FINALLY lost the weight gained in Nov. and don't want to go back up again in the last 3 weeks of Dec. 5. Lots of other reasons...
But I'm glad I got it in, because I had lots of reasons to skip a day.

I've done it twice now since Saturday (well, Cardio Circuit 1 on Saturday and regular Cardio today) and I haven't had a problem. I kinda thought I might, but so far so good. I didn't have any knee discomfort during or after.
One of the reasons I am doing this DVD rental thing is to get a good variety of workouts (and to find out what I like enough to buy) so that I don't have one workout that hammers my knees all the time. I DO have a problem with my knees in the buns workout on TamiLee Webb's "I Want That Body!" DVD. I love that DVD, it's one of my favorites, but that particular workout does a job on my knees so I don't do it as often as the abs and arms workouts. OTOH, it's a GREAT workout and I've really felt the difference in my thighs and buns.
