I also think that MANY people will use the info in a blog like this as an excuse to stay fat.
I think that cutting back on bad habits and exercising more good habits and getting and staying at a realistic weight is VERY different from "dieting".
Eating a little less to get to a healthier weight isn't necessarily "dieting" and is not necessarily bad.
OTOH, I'm also pretty convinced that most forms of "dieting" is bad.
OTOH, part of me wishes we could reclaim the word "dieting", since diets have such a bad reputation... but a lot of people use, "Diets don't work" as an excuse.
It is possible to believe two conflicting things at the same time...

I don't have time to read the whole blog right now. But she is talking about the Starvation Experiment during WWII. I have the book. It is good. Very interesting.
