I guess I did pretty good Wednesday. Usual breakfast. 14 ounces of baked sweet potato for lunch (it actually weighed 18 oz but I got full ) It was one of the potatoes I got thru www.athens.locallygrown.net and actually weighed 26 oz (1lb 10oz) raw. I have another one that is 1lb 5oz that I will cook next week. We went to trivia at Vic's NY Pizza and I had 2 pieces of cheese toast and a child's size serving of spaghetti with marinera(sp?) sauce.
Going to dinner at the home of one of Dena's "students" so I have no idea what is on the menu. She sits for them occasionally and when the mom found out we were not doing anything on Thursday (our dinner is Saturday) she insisted that we come to their house.
I made it to the gym for a great extended workout. My food is track thus far and I am feeling focused in spite of the fact that I will be baking pies this afternoon. Sweets are generally not my downfall so that I expect to stay totally on track.
I am still reeling from the shock of my first post-2-weeks-in-Ohio weigh-in...I'm actually DOWN a pound or so from when I left for Ohio 2 weeks ago!
The reason I find that so shocking is that, other than walking the dog, I have sat on my behind all day every day, both in the hospital and with my mother at home while she was recuperating. I've also had a soda almost every day which I don't do at home (rediscovered my childhood favorite, Squirt, while I was buying stuff for MOm), had a cookie or two a day (Mom bought white chocolate and macadamia nut cookies before I arrived) and have eaten out every day for the last 7 days in a row because Mom was sick of being in the house and wanted to go visit her favorite haunts. PLUS I ordered pizza when I got home last night as I hadn't had anything but an Ensure and a small pack of pretzels all day.
Wow. Color me shocked but happy. I thought I'd be coming home and having to work off what I'd gained while I was there. Yay!
