Hooray! I can finally post again in this folder!
Yesterday I went to a new park and walked some trails. We were there for about 1.5 hours, with about a half an hour break to toss a football.

I have no idea how far I walked but it seemed like a fair distance especially after being so sick for so long. Can't wait to get back to the water aerobics classes this week.

FINALLY I got some exercise done this week!

Sunday: 1+ hour power walk

I can't wait for cooler weather so I can get out and walk more frequently. I find that I am really resistant to cardio DVDs lately, though I don't know why.

Personal Healthy Habits Challenge - 10/1 to 12/31/08:
1. Exercise: Get back to consistently working out 3-5 X week.
2. Food: Get back to consistently preparing healthy lunches for the week with increased veg servings.
3. Behavior: Reduce intake of sweets.

Friday: A 4.72 mile walk in the park.

That's a long way, when you're not "in the mood".

I didn't exercise this week-end. Too many things going on Saturday (another one of my kittens got adopted!), which caused another flareup of my plantar fasciitus on Sunday, but I did renew my gym membership. For THREE years! Talked them in to giving me a 3 year membership for $699.00, and a lifetime renewal after that for $49.00 a year! This is pretty much the same deal I got two years ago from 24 Hour Fitness, which I still use when I travel because they're right across the street from my favorite San Francisco hotel, but this other gym is extremely convenient to home, like within bicycle distance, while 24 Hour Fitness would only be convenient if I went directly from work.

Driving is like coloring. You gotta stay between the lines!
