The Food Pyramid is due for a revision in 2010.

Are you familar with the Pyramid Guidelines?

I'd like to see recommendations for limiting things like nitrates, certain food colorings/preservatives and chemicals, especially for kids where we don't have a clue on what safe levels are.

I also think that the dairy recommendation is too tied to milk. There are plenty of other sources of calcium.

If memory serves, last time they failed to make a specific recommendation on sugar consumption.

Goal: Stop stress snacking.
