Just to let you all know I am alive and have missed you all, I do read your post’s almost daily. It has been a rough year for me in more ways then one, just a brief note what has been going on,: after Hurricane Wilma and after my condo association evaluated all the damages, each apartment in my building got assessed for $2K. for roof repair then a few other assessments totaling approximately $600. and now I need a new a/c another $2.K, and the BEST part is they have cut my hours back at work. (anyone want to lend me some money ) Also so many people in So. Florida have had there Homeowners Insurance cancelled ( I will know if mine will be cancelled around Sept. ( in fact my DD just got her’s cancelled) plus the H.O tax situation , so many people have moved out of the county to N.C. Ga. And Tennessee
And to top it off I have put on 6 pounds, ( which I know is my fault eating more bread and not w.w,. chips and sweets and am tired of cooking ( all this due to being aggravated I hate to use the word stressed out) and no mater what I do now I can’t seem to get it off, I can feel my clothes getting a little tight…… any suggestions………
Now won’t bore you with the rest of my problems Have a good weekend everyone

glad to see you back. I'm sorry to hear about the damage of the hurricane. My heart goes out to you.
Cut yourself a little slack, you have been through a lot. Maybe there is something small you can do to start back. just take baby steps, no one says you have to do it all at the same time.
*hugs*

Summer Se7en Challenge Goals
1. Binge control: no more than 2 times per week 2. Think positive and give credit for all the little successes 3. Go swimming
Carole, although it's late on the sympathy, my heart is still with those of you who were so devastated by those hurricanes, your lives have been changed forever, I am sure.
As far as your weight, gf, 6 pounds is nothing you can get that off in no time. Just be good to you, take time to give yourself healthy eating and getting out to just walk if nothing else. It cheers your emotions too. Now stay in touch, you were missed.

I don't know if it makes you feel any better, but I *get* why the insurance and taxes are causing you anguish.
While the weather is so beautiful, can you head outside for a walk a few times a week? We both know it won't be long until it's miserable to be outside in the afternoons, so I try to relish this time of year by opening windows and being outside as much as possible--it's fun (for me) to put together a dinner that doesn't require cooking that we can eat outside after a walk. A salad, sliced fruits and vegetables, and whole wheat pitas with hummus are a favorite.
Challenge Goals: *10 minutes of unplanned exercise five times a week *Gym time twice a week *Socialize at least once every two weeks.
