Is it Day 14 already? How are you all doing? Need to make adjustments or continue on course?
I copied this quote as it really speaks to me: Today's Thought of the Day (thanks Sheri!):Impatience comes from focusing on negative thoughts. Results come from focusing on being happy and constantly renewing your commitment to change and to improve the things that you can, one small step at a time.-Bob Greene
Still pushing forward but still fighting some sort of bug. Its wierd its worse at night go figure. My dh wants me to go see a doctor told him I would if it still hangs by Tuesday. Anyway did 40 minutes on treadmill and 10 minutes of weights. Glad see everyone is doing well on this.

Ok today was my first weigh in since i started and I lost 2 pounds. I had a super busy day moving furniture around and I unpacked 3 of the boxes still hanging out in the spare bedroom.

14 days already? This is making my summer fly by even faster The weather has been fabulous...too hot for the baseball game yesterday and we ended up leaving early (Mariners were losing anyway). We had lots of fun people watching and my dh loved eating all the food! I shared some fries, but it was too hot for me to eat so I had a frozen lemonade..yummy!
Didn't exercise yesterday...walked a lot at the stadium. Haven't exercised today...still could...or I will try on some fall clothes to see if they fit???
Need to be more focused this week
Kat
Goal: Exercise at least 3 times per week.
Remember the positives.
Get the munchies under control!

I'm very pleased to report that I got right back on that treadmill yesterday and did my 60 minutes. Although I agree with you all about the all-or-nothing mentality not being the best idea, the "day off" has almost always been the beginning of the end for me. I knew that this time I was not going to let it get me.
I had planned to get to the gym in the late afternoon yesterday, but because I was spending so much time worrying about not doing it, I finally just gave up the project I was working on and went to the gym.
The blood sugars went well, I think. I say this because I fell asleep with a book on my nose again and forgot to do my bedtime blood sugar reading. And the two-hour after meal reading simply slipped my mind. I'm going to try to set a timer after dinner tonight. This morning's reading was the best so far! I'm very excited.
I've also already completed my 60-minute walk for today so the rest of the afternoon is mine--well, that is, of course, after checking with DW (laughing).
I closed the kitchen before 8 p.m. 12 out of 14 days. And I took my lunch to work on Monday and Tuesday (worked at home on Wed., went to a department outing on Thurs., and ate fruit from the farmers' market on Friday).
I haven't decided on my baby step for week #3; I'll post it by tomorrow.
Already took the dogs for their walk, got that in early. It's not as easy as swimming, but we all like it.
Journaling is going well, I need to figure out a way to make sure that I get all my points in before 8:00. But then I find if I don't eat something small before i go to bed....at 12:00, I am waking up at night with a low blood sugar. Cereal seems to work and isn't so heavy that I can't sleep. I'll do some experiementing.
Weigh in tomorrow at the clinic...last one for awhile, as I will be weighing in at WW. That will start on Tuesday. Still very nervous and afraid. But I will keep at it this time, I can't help but loose weight, always have on WW. I guess I need the face to face contact. Last week I mentioned it at school, one of the secy's daughters is the leader and I dearly love her, there were about five that said they were starting before school gets underway too....so I will have company.
Got the first part of my "mothers and daughters" book off to the publisher this weekend. I hope she likes it. I am excited to share it with her.
Have a great day! cathy

I'm heading to my parents to get my sister, then we go pick up here new bed, then move her old bed to my guest room guess exercise is covered today. We'll go out for lunch as well, but I'm planning on something light because its just so darn hot. I'll check back in later.
