There was some discussion previously (can't find that thread) about a title for the 4th book. Some indicated they did not feel comfortable giving KD's books as gifts because the title "Cooking Thin" might imply that the recipent might need to cut back.

I have been trying to think of something with the same initials "CT" but without the "diet" conotation.

How does "Cooking Tips from Chef Kathleen & Friends" sound.

Yikes, Terri, I wouldn't be able to think of anything at that time of the morning! Of course, I've been awake since a little after 5 a.m. and would love for the coffee to kick in. I didn't get enough sleep (was up 'til about 12:30 a.m.) and can't get back to sleep!

How about something of a simple change, but getting away from the CT name...and saying Cooking Thinner!

Or...Calorie Thin..meaning not as many calories in the dish as before.

Calorie Thinking...you think about how you make food and why you eat it?

Hehe...I shouldn't do this early in the am Smiler But there's a few for thought!

That was my original thought also but since some people had suggested a change I was trying to think of something that would not be a total change and would use the "CT" initials. KD has said the next book will have tips from the board.

Hmm..thinking about this...sometimes change is good.

However, ponder this thought and let me know what you think.

Companies don't change their logos/names often at all because of brand recognition. Since people recognize her from Cooking Thin..they may go looking up the new Cooking Thin book...and not be able to find it. Just a thought.

Does KD want to get away from the Cooking Thin name altogether?

I don't think "cooking thin" means they need to cut back...it just means you are making smarter choices...but thats just my opinion Smiler
