By SUSAN ARCHER Sept 16, 2010—
Millions of Americans have daily stress in their lives. Cardiologist John Kennedy has developed 'The 15 Minute Heart Cure' -- a set of breathing techniques you can do anytime, anywhere. It requires no drugs, no surgery and his techniques give you the ability to reduce your blood pressure using brain power alone.
Dr. Kennedy says it is within our power to change the way we respond to stress. Using visualization and breathing, Dr. Kennedy believes people can calm themselves to better their health. "You can teach your body how to slow down, how to be present, how to relax. And what this does is it helps you concentrate and protect your heart all at the same time."

Today people are living in too much of stress and they are surrounded with many health problems which also involves breathing problems also and such exercises today are very important.
I agree jillybean, and Meditation only can help you to achieve your goal, it trains the mind to focus and achieve clarity, while promoting relaxation and fostering a spiritual connection. There are many ways to practice meditation, including guided exercises and special breathing techniques, but part of the experience often includes the burning of incense. The aromatic smell from incense purifies the air and encourage your mind towards positive thoughts. Using incense will definitely improve your focus and concentration.
I can personally attest to this working. I often use breathing exercises and meditation when I feel stressed. It really does help a lot. My blood pressure has been a little on the high side (130/80-this is high for me, all my life it's always been around 117/68 or somewhere around there) and I notice if I meditate regularly it helps to lower those numbers.

I have no specific goal(s) right now. I am trying to find the spiritual side of myself that I lost somewhere along the way.
