Food tally wasn't too bad, but there was a fair share of alcohol.
The boychild did his ToT on Sunday and RACKED UP. While he was doing that, we ate pizza and wings. I had one piece and 7 wings, plus some M&Ms. Not great, but I didn't eat much, as I was so pooped from the night before, I wasn't very hungry.
We didn't hand out candy. We were halloween grinches and sat inside with the lights off, listening to the doorbell ring.
All of DS's candy has all be scanned and placed in a big pot on top of the fridge. He'll get a portion doled out every day. For me, out of site is pretty much out of mind.

I bought Skittles. They aren't chocolate. They're just sitting there, all sad that we only had 3 kids come to the door. Soon, they'll be put in a care package to troops stationed overseas that a co-worker of the boyfriend is putting together.
Skittles aren't chocolate! I felt so liberated when I bought them---"Look at me! Buying NON-CHOCOLATE and yet STILL COOL candy!"

Ate two fun sized packets of m&m's while watching a movie. We turned out the porch light at 9pm, as we ran out of candy.
We ended up buying candy to give out. I'm glad that we did. It was ds's first year not trick or treating - he ate about 5 pieces.
Not a bad night at all!
I'm with Cobi'smom, glad that my kid is too old. (Although, I sort of miss age 3-4 - we turned a cardboard box into Thomas the Tank Engine. That costume lasted a couple of years.) I REALLY did not miss the candy, cupcakes, cookies, etc. coming home on Friday after the school party!

WE are all tempted and we all give in occassionally. Today was your turn. Now you are aware of how easily it can happen. AND remember tomorrow is another day. Thank goodness. This is the one holiday that I am thankful my children are grown, and we have no kids in our neighborhood.
Hang in there Bee. It will look a lot better tomorrow!

well i have have good news and bad news. Bad news, we hardly had any trick or treaters. There is some guy in my neighborhood attacking people so everyone is afraid. Good news, I bought fun pencils and erasers instead of candy so I don't have to be worried about all that candy lying around.

I did terribly today : ( We went to a neighbor's party that was supposed to be just chili and cornbread. She ended up having a whole spread of all kind of yummy things. Not only did I eat too much food but I had a large frosted cookie and a fun sized bag of m&ms.
Now I'm totally paying the price for it (my stomach is killing me, I'm gassy, etc...) PLUS, I have my yearly physical tomorrow! Don't know what I was thinking scheduling that the day after Halloween! At least I'll get a good workout in tomorrow morning and I did get a good run in this morning.
I just wish that I had listened to that full feeling when it started instead of eating through it : (
P.S. Despite only going to 6 houses, my dd filled her entire cookie jar with candy - urgh!
