I got this email from my friend that I wanted to share with you all. I know you all will jump in and help.

I'm not sure if you have heard about this, but Country Crock (you know, the
spread that has the commercial with just the hands and voices) is doing a
campaign where they will donate meals to an organization called America's
Second Harvest, up to one million. All people need to do is write in with
a story of how they've shared something in their lives. I am obviously not
in any way affiliated with this organization (other than the fact that I do
have a tub of Country Crock in my fridge right now--haha!) but I saw the
commercial recently and it really touched me. What a simple thing we can
all do! I visited the site and so far they are not even up to 10,000 meals
yet...I know some of you will say this is cheesy, but I just thought I'd
"spread the word" to all of you.

Today I received my confirmation that they had posted my story, and there was an option to post another story. So this is for each story (not just each person) that is posted. So if you all have multiple stories (and I'm sure we all do!) go back and take 2 more minutes and post another, and another and another Smiler

I have worked with Second Harvest in the past, and can personally vouch for the integrity of this organization!

I not only added my story, (11,177) but I sent a major e-mail to most people in my e-mail box.

Thanks, Steph for the great idea.

Seems like a very easy way to make a big difference. I added my story earlier and it only took a couple of minutes.

That's neat, Steph! And I took 2 minutes and typed out a story of how I share with others....
