My friend Sue's daughter has 2 Lhasa's and 2 King Cavalier Spaniels. And while the oldest Lhasa is the dominant dog, he gets along quite well with the other dogs and they are very friendly and adapt well to people.
I know certain dog breeds have reputations, but it does not always ring true for each and every dog of that breed. My fiancee owns a pit bull. Pits have a very bad reputation for being mean and that they attack without warning. I've spent plenty of time with this pit, he is an adult male, about 9 years old. He is the most calm, loving dog I've ever met. We have a Shih-tzu. He fits some of the stereo-type of a Shih-tzu but also is totally opposite the typical rep of that breed.
I know all breeds are supposed to have a certain temperament and behavior but I honestly believe a lot has to do with how they are raised. I've seen Pit Bulls in the city that live in very small homes, they have no yard to run in and they are raised to be "mean".
Just give those little dogs all your love and kindness and a nice, happy home and I believe they will be just fine.

I have no specific goal(s) right now. I am trying to find the spiritual side of myself that I lost somewhere along the way.
