The Parks and recreation department has classes one night a week for 4 weeks for $27, so I'm thinking about trying it.

I think it looks really fun, but wondered if anyone had tried it.

Cool! I know how to do salsa, merengue and cumbia, and paso doble and I think a lot of the moves are based on the first 2-3.

I think knowing Latin dance is why it is so appealing ot me.

I have the dvd's too. I thought it was fun!

I have/had(?) the DVDs. Fun, but you'll look dorky until you get the hang of the steps.
