I spent the weekend in NY at my 20th high school reunion. It was better than I ever could have imagined!

Over 200 people were there, 80% of I knew and remembered and at least 50% I was actually friends with ; )

As a group, I think we all aged really well. There were some exceptions of course but everyone pretty much looked the same, just with a wrinkle or two. Men changed more I thought. Some had really grown up into men during their college years and while others lost hair or grew facial hair.

The best compliment I got was that I looked the same as I graduated high school thin. It was very nice to be able to go back now as opposed to 6 or more years ago when I looked nothing like I did then.

The flip side is that I didn't get more than a couple of hours of sleep, I picked up a cold/sore throat and I didn't eat very healthy at all so it's back to the grind today of good self care both nutritionally and rest wise.

If anyone is on the fence about going back for a reunion, I whole heartedly recommend it!

I don't have any pictures from reunion night as my camera wouldn't work.

It was very casual and in a local bar. A friend will be emailing me pics from her camera but it was so dark that I'm not sure I'll have anything to post.

So glad you had a good time, Brie! When I went to my 20 year a couple of years ago, I had a great time too. Now was yours semi-formal? Would love to see pictures!

I would also give a plug for going back "home" for high school reunions....it was so nice reconnecting after 20 years. At my 10 year reunion I was not very excited, but after my 20year, I can't wait for the next one Smiler

Blessings,
