I have fallen in love with Pirate's Booty (with aged white cheddar). It looks like popcorn but it doesn't have those hard little centers like popcorn does. We got it at Whole Foods but I think Trader Joe's carries it also.

i am a big consumer of the Dr Praeger's pancakes. i love the spinach, sweet potato and broccoli, and the tex mex. i do not like the california burger. i have not tried the Indian burger. north carolina carries them at earthfare and harris teeter.
for breakfast, i will go an eggbeater scramble and throw in a spinach pancake and wow, is it ever tastey! another thing i do is toast a slice of bread, spread some ff cream chz and then place a broccoli or spinach pancake on top. that is also pretty yummy!

I have two products that I have discovered relatively recently that I really, really like.
The first is McCain's sweet potato fries. We bake them in the oven. I think they are really delicious and need no accompaniment. If I had regular fries, I'd have to have catsup or at least some salt on them.
The second product may not be anything to people in larger towns than I live in. Kraft has started producing a block of parmesan cheese in a container which allows grating on to the food. I don't like it because it is, therefore, a one use container; but, I do like the aspect of being able to have freshly grated parmesan cheese.
Has anyone ever had Dr. Praeger's frozen pancakes? I was reading about them in Runner's World, and when DH made his Trader Joe's run today, I asked him to look for them. He didn't find them. They come in sweet potato, spinach, and other veggie varieties.
If they're worth the effort, I'll try harder to find a store that carries them.
just bought another Trader Joe Product. they have 100 calorie packs of choc chip mini-cookies. comes in a box of 6 packets. yum. in our TJ they are on the shelves above the freezer stuff. you have to kind of search them out. amy
ok, sounds like a field trip worth doing once i am back from SF. cary also has the best Little India so maybe i can stop and get some Indian food items, and perhaps get a henna tatoo! ok, i have something to look forward to--cool beans!

That would be worth the drive. Their customer service is so good. Even if you don't like something you can take it back. I bought some bad chicken there...of course threw it away- and when i went back in they said...'grab a new one." Plus they always 'card' me when i'm buying '2 buck chuck' there (I'm 40) so it's a boost in my self esteem and just bunches and bunches of health options...and they address food allergies...and and and...
Just had trader joes turkey meatballs. They are 100 calories for 2....very substantial. yummy too. I added a can of tomatoes and put on top of whole wheat pasta but they are a total party food as well. amy
While there are "better" choices, I tend to eat breakfast in the car, and I like the bars a lot; the snack bites are just good enough to feel like a "treat" in the afternoon. One bar, one bag of bites, and that's 10 easy grams of fiber. Coupled with fruit, vegetables, and whole-grain choices...well, do your own math and reach your own conclusions.
I've been stocking up when they're on sale or there's a coupon in the Sunday paper. For me, it's definitely a better "no-think" breakfast than a Nutri-grain bar or even skipping breakfast.
Lean Cuisine Classic Five Cheese Lasagna - 8g fat (3.5 g sat fat), 320 calories, 690 mg sodium, no trans fat, no preservatives, no artificial flavors.
I rarely buy frozen dinners because I am sodium sensitive and it's hard to find lower-sodium frozen dinners that are tasty when you are as picky an eater as I am. I'd forgotten this was in the freezer and was very late having my dinner so I was looking for something quick and stumbled across this in the freezer.
The first few bites were a little iffy because the texture seemed too soft (texture is my biggest picky thing)...but once I got into it, it was actually quite good. Once I wait a while and see how much my head spins from the sodium, I will consider whether to buy it again but, based solely on taste, I would recommend it.

At Thanksgiving I found strawberry tomatoes in Meijer's. They were bigger and more round than either grape or cherry tomatoes. They looked more like the good tasting tomatoes of my youth - RED - not that washed out red.
They tasted good, but I don't think they lasted as long as the others do. We ended up throwing a lot of them away.
Tonight I had MorningStar Farms Mushroom Lovers Burger. It's new. It's soo good!
I tried it with out anything at first, then I cut it up to mix it with some lightly garlic/herb seasoned Brown Rice and Dark Red Kidney Beans that I cooked.
For anyone who loves mushroom...I would highly recommend.
I worked at Bath & Body Works for several years...and I can guarantee that if you go in when they aren't insanely busy and tell them you didn't like it (and bring what's left back), they'll make good on it--either give you a refund (if you have a receipt) or let you swap it out for something else the same price.
That being said, peppermint sounds nice I think I'll hit it after Christmas and get some on sale!
This has been my experience with all chocolate bath products. I don't know what it is with the chocolate scented bath products, but they don't foam very well, they don't "melt" very well, and they are generally unpleasant except for the scent.
I have had success with the peppermint products at BBW, but haven't tried the other holiday scents.
Ahh good this confirms my belief that chocolate should be eaten and not used as a bath aide

I don't know how many of you are bubble bath devotees like myself, but I am a regular customer at Bath & Body Works to buy bubblebath. While I was Christmas shopping on Saturday, I stopped in there to get more of my favorite (Fresh Vanilla) and saw that, as always, they have some new "flavors" for the holidays.
They had this big display for the new "food" flavors--chocolate, caramel popcorn and peppermint. They came in HUGE bottles (looked like nearly twice the size of a usual bottle of bubblebath) and I don't like to buy that much of something without having ever tried it. I saw one little travel-size bottle sitting on the display and asked where I could find more. I wanted a small bottle of the caramel popcorn but they only had the chocolate or peppermint, so I got the chocolate.
I tried it for the first time this morning and all I can say is THANK GOODNESS I didn't buy the HUMUNGO bottle. The stuff sucks. Sure, it SMELLS nice--very chocolatey--but it has the consistency of chocolate fudge sauce and it did not do well at all at either blending in with the water or making bubbles. I had to add some Fresh Vanilla in to even get bubbles. Plus there were all these little brown clumps floating around in my tub--NOT pleasant!
Just wanted to forewarn folks of this holiday ripoff. If anyone else has tried these new products and has had a more positive experience, please pipe up and let me know if I just got a bad bottle or something.
