I'm going to tie three different threads together.

(this thread) I'm up 1/2 lb over my range. I seriously don't know why... but think that it might be H2O retention, but hey, that didn't stop me from using soy and fish sauce (1/2 tsp of each) on my carrot and cabbage slaw at lunch.
(stress eating thread) While 1/2 lb won't stop me from put 10 calories of fish/soy sauce on cabbage... it WAS a factor in me passing on the stress eating cookie Monday. Fish sauce may lead to water retention... but cookies lead to fat retention.
(How much do you pay for food?!?!?! thread) Also, since I was in the Stanford (EXTREMELY upscale) shopping center, a cookie was $5-6...each.

. Not $5-6 for three cookies… or a dozen cookies… $5-6 EACH. OK, granted these WERE some INCREDIBLE looking cookies (and believe me I stood looking at them for a long time...). And they were gigantic. But I also didn't have it in me to post: 1 cookie, just for me - $6.00
So, hopefully, my good behavior will be rewarded next time the Wed. WI thread comes around.
