ok, I'm sick. I've been up since 2 am, gone through two changes of clothes and am basically spending my life in the bathroom.

At least I have bananas, tea, rice and toast.

So I'm thankful for that.

But I wanted to sing today and have a nice relaxed afternoon!

I wanted to go to church!

*cry*

Cate, I hope you're feeling better. I know it really stinks to be sick on Thanksgiving. I am battling a nasty cold today myself. Frowner

I was having a bit of a problem earlier in the week but just thought it was all the dried fruit I'd been noshing on.

Then last night, WHAMMO!

and I've got a bit of a fever, nothing else.

I called a neighbor and asked if she had any Immodium, and she brought some over.

I'm still so sad about missing church, apparently the Thanksgiving Mass is really special. And I'd worked really hard practicing for choir too. *sigh*

oh well, I'm going to try to nap or something.

I am sorry you are sick. You will sing again, and you will get to church again. But you have to take care of you right now. The date of Thanksgiving is just that, a date...so make your Thanksgiving date and the plans you had for a time when you are feeling better.

Now crawl back in bed, or wherever and take care of you!

It's never too late to get it right.

So sorry to hear that you are sick on Thanksgiving. Weren't you having this problem earlier this week as well? I seem to recall you saying something during Flychat. Sounds like you have a bug. Make sure you get plenty of fluids and those bananas will help keep your potassium from being depleted.

Feel better, Catherine!

Balmex or Desitin (made primarily for diaper rash, I think)

Cate,

I'm sorry to hear that you are sick. I know how awful and depressing that can be during a holiday. I got really sick one year at thanksgiving and couldn't keep anything down.

take it easy. I hope you feel better soon.

*hugs*
