Most of my choices in this situation involve wheat... which I know won't work for you. You are the person most familar with your food limitations and what you can and can't eat and what you enjoy and don't enjoy. And you have enough common sense to know what will work for you.

Cate, I'm big into salads these days. Top with whatever you like. You can store with an ice pack or in work's fridge. Maybe sit down in a park, rest, eat and chill between 5 and 6.

I would highly suggest switching lunch and dinner around. I don't know what you eat for lunch, but in my world it's usually not a warm meat. I would switch those two around, have your bigger warm meal before going to work, and then have a smaller cold meal in the hour between. You might even have time for a short decompressing walk that way. How about a wrap, with vegies and a fruit bowl from home? I am learning to combine yogurt with the fresh fruits I see in the market, and it's pretty filling in the bowl I use. Just a suggestion. Good luck with the new schedule.
It's never too late to get it right.
