I did try to check in yesterday, but couldn't get in to the site for some reason.
Well, here I am at the end of work week one where I promised to check in daily and do something nice for myself daily and eat sensible.
Here's what I've accomplished this week: I have not skipped one meal this week. I know this doesn't sound like a lot, but for me it is when things are so crazy at work. I have done something nice for myself every day. Most days that was a nice bubble bath. Last night it was watching a TV show. Tonight I'm going to read for a bit.
My food choices haven't been bad, but could be better for certain. Going to the grocery store tomorrow will help that. Stocking up on healthy whatever I need- fruits and veggies, dairy, and meat. One thing I've for sure picked up from KD- you can't eat what's not in the house. That applies to good healthy stuff as well as the bad stuff.
Leslie: Fitting in the meals is a huge step. I know b/c I used to eat only 1 per day at like 9 p.m. and it was such a chore for me to eat any other time except on weekends. I laso was not thin which I thought i would be eating one meal a day. I actually felt os crummy that I knew I had to change my life. I now eat breakfast 95% of the time, sometimes on the weekends I combine b & l. So Great job and keep it up. We are always here to listen.
Great for you!! I know it can be hard to "fit in" a meal sometimes and we all forget to take a time out and treat ourselves...a great thing to remember.. And its great to hear your making the "better" choices, you can always work up to the "best" choices.

Leslie YOU GO GIRL It took me forever to realize and not feel guilty about taking that "Me Time" but it is one of the most important things that you can do for you and your family.
Leslie, Sounds like you've made some great baby steps like eating all your meals and using rewards. I love that your rewards are so easy to do and that you use them each day. I need some work in that area. Good luck shopping. I'd love to know what you come up with.
