I have a second interview tomorrow!! As some of you know, I've wanted out of my job for quite a while. Tomorrow i have a second interview to manage a pizza restaurant. Its a New England chain, with lots of room to grow. even the home offices aren't too far away. Everyone please cross your fingers.

Ok after 3 postponements, I had my second interview with the company. Things look really promising. It will be about $7000 more a year, which I could really use. With another 5% raise after 6 mos. Now I just have to wait on a third and hopefully final interview, this time with the training manager. After that it can take 6-8 weeks for an actual opening. Wow with all the interviewing and re interviewing you would think I was applying for the secret service or something. Well hopefully I will here from them next week to schedule the next one.

Excellent Laurie! Be forwarned about the financing places if they are mortgage companies. My brother has been riding that roller coaster for a couple of years now. They all make it sound like you can make excellent money, but they way they structure the commission or bonus plans leads most not to succeed too well... He has finally given up and is now selling insurance.
I wish you great luck with any of the opportunities though.

I just got home from work and there are 2 more messages from companies that want to meet with me. They saw my resume online. One is a sporting goods store, the other is one of those financing places . Things are definitely looking up.
