That pic of Jerry with the caption "What a stud!" cracked me up last year when I saw it originally and it just cracked me up again. I also love the pix of him crossing the stones in the stream/river. He looks like a real character.

And yes, the area where I walked is very green. It parallels the river, and it rained so much during the winter, it flooded. So now we're reaping the benefits.
The areas away from the river are a lot more arid. Still not exactly desert. I think we qualify as "high desert and chaparral."
We're going rafting again this weekend. I'm too nervous about something happening to it to bring my digicam, but I plan on buying a waterproof disposable. When I get those pics back, I'll post em too.

Mine are over in the Group Journal. If you use the find feature to search on the words "walk diary" you'll find mine. I posted two different sets for my February walk and my March walk but they are now on the same webpage so if you find one link, you can see both sets of pictures.

Beautiful grrlscout!!!! Thanks for posting those for us!!! Sheri, I really loved your pics too!!!
It is a wonderful idea and gesture. I have been planning to (take &)post some of our farm and my running "track" when and if things calm down a bit around here.
