Whew, another weekend past. They are especially hectic at this time of year and I'm happy to be done with it. However, weekdays present their own challenges and difficulties. Need to figure out DS's homework issues and get my own act together. How will you use this "fresh start" Monday to get back on track?

I will make sure I get in my run and stay on plan for meals and snacks.

take it easy Brie!

hey, i buy trader joe brand ff feta cheese and i really like the taste.

i am feeling still a little sore from the weekend running i did. but i eeked in a shorter workout this morning. focused more on back and arms.

so far, right on target with my food choices. i need to be aware of the stress i feel from the demands in my life.
my tom is coming in the next week so i try to eat seafood pretty regularly. i find it helps minimize my cramping and i can sleep better. so i had slamon on sprouted grain for breakfast today. very tastey. tofu salad for lunch. 2 snacks (small yogurt, and small pudding) dinner is turkey meat balls with roasted red pepper soup.i always finish it off with a fudgesicle and ThinDdictive biscotti crackers from Costco.

Goals:
1. Enjoy life!
2. Be aware, be awake, pay attention.
3. One word 2010: faith

Here's my plan today:
E: 30 minutes elliptical and walk tonight.
B: cereal and skim milk
L: veggie chili
S: watermelon- 1 cup
D: 1 c ww pasta, tomato sauce and 1 ounce ff feta, salad

BTW, I found a pretty decent ff feta cheese. I've given up on all other ff cheese as I do not like anything about them. However, President brand ff feta is not bad. It does contain a lot of sodium, but I can plan and compensate for that.

Take care, Brie. Not fun Frowner

I woke up sick - very bad sore throat, cold symptoms and now I'm starting to feel feverish. Not a good way to start the week.

I'm planning on laying low today, drinking lots of hot tea, and keeping hydrated.

Food will probably be toast and "sick" food.

My Monday started off with a visit to the dr's office and some bloodwork. The visit left me feeling depressed, which is not the best possible way to start off a new week and a challenge, but maybe this will somehow turn out to be a good thing. I just wish drs' visits would bring good news once in a while... sigh.
