It says that it is "faith based", however, MOST of the pieces are presented by registered dieticians, MD's and therapists with Ph'ds and the like and seemed based on science and medicine. Or the pieces are done by regular people with some really good down to earth approaches to eating and exercise and “Finding Balance”.
They recently changed the web page... And it is mostly video clips. At first I was really bummed because I used to really enjoy their written articles… But last night I was surfing around and I think that their video format is REALLY interesting and engaging and the information is very good.
I think that it is a good website for people who don't have full blown eating disorders... but might have some funky disordered thinking... (like those of us who might think a day of potatoes and mustard is a good plan ). And honestly, growing up in the US, it is hard to grow up without some somewhat kooky food ideas. Lord knows I'm still getting over mine.
