Did some variation of the trainer-recommended circuit at the gym, plus 20 on the treadmill.

I walked 2 1/2 miles this morning.

Plan to go back and do more this afternoon but you never know what might go wrong with that plan.

Wednesday I walked 3 miles at the Y.

My Sunday square dance classes have been cancelled due to lack of students so I will be walking on Sundays instead of dancing.

I have been thinking that it might be fun to learn golf.

Lately I keep forgetting to log my walks on the calendar but I think I did 2 miles on Wed. 2 miles on Thurs & 1 mile on Friday.

Saturday I sat on the carport and provided lunch for a gazillion skeeters while bil's friend worked on my old station wagon so he could buy it.

Sunday I walked 1 mile and dd counted over 50 visible skeeter bites (mostly on my legs)

Saturday: Played 9 holes of golf (but on a 3-par course)

This was my first time ever playing "real" golf (I'd only played putt-putt golf before). I have never really had much desire to play "real" golf because I didn't want to play a full 18 on a regulation course and I didn't realize there were these little par 3 courses that don't take hours and hours to finish.

A friend of mine is newly and passionately into golf and asked me to go with him yesterday and I really enjoyed it. He says I did "very very well" for my first time but it didn't feel like it sometimes, esp. those first holes. Smiler

Friday: 40 min walk-done!

Saturday: 45 min ball/weight workout-done, plus 4 hours of scraping and sanding cabinet doors for out kitchen.

Sunday plan: Get cabinets primered and first coat of paint. this is an upper-body workout like you can't imagine!

I have no specific goal(s) right now. I am trying to find the spiritual side of myself that I lost somewhere along the way.
