Yesterday at Target I found 2 cup size bowls that have measurements in both cups and ounces along the side. The bowls also have ice packs that snap into the lids of the bowls. They are food grade plastic and non-toxic and can be used in the microwave. I just thought it was a great tool for portioning out lunches and makeing them easy to take for lunch.
I also bought a water bottle with a filter in it. This way I can take water to school and refill it and not have to keep using bottled water.

I can help with wake up calls on the west coast...I'm up at 4:30 Pacific.

i am an early riser also. it is not terribly hard but it is a bummer when the rest of the world wants to start socializing at 9pm and your eyes get heavy b/c you get used to a certain schedule.

6am to 2pm Monday-Friday. Which is nice, because I don't work weekends anymore, and it is nice to be done at 2 every day. But 4:30 still hurts! Everyone says, "Oh, it gets easier..." I think it just gets less painful.

Diana, Didn't you morph your hours so that you were not working 4 super long days? Are you still starting super early?

I am. I've gotten lazy over the summer and I'm not looking forward to getting up at 5:45, but otherwise, I'm looking forward to my new job.

I hear you about getting up and getting going. During the school year, we are out the door by 7.30. Lately, I am just hitting the shower by 8 or later.
