My surgery went well, with just a little hitch in OR schedule that kept me waiting in pre-op for an extra hour. (Remember how I couldn't eat after midnight? Cranky much?)
Anyway, now my job is healing and resting. And staying out of the kitchen while I'm homebound.
i have been doing pretty well. i definitely did not get enough rest saturday and sunday night. i feel like i am still catching up. i decided on monday that i would ask for friday off, and so i am really looking forward to THAT! i am planning on swimming, which is something i have grown to love. my food has been on track. my exercise has been on track. i am doing an extra 30-45 minutes of weight training on tuesday and thursday nights now, which is great because i sleep in on the following mornings. this weekend will be all about respite.
Goals: 1. Enjoy life! 2. Be aware, be awake, pay attention. 3. One word 2010: faith

Glad to hear that you are home and recovery Susan and that you are feeling better about work Puck. Fingers crossed that things improve.
I was out to dinner last night with friends - had oysters on the half shell for an app. and then grouper with lobster mashed potatoes and spinach for dinner. I'm sure there was loads of butter in the food but it was worth it. I had a clean day leading up to the dinner so I'm OK with yesterday.
Today I'm off to run as soon as Cori heads to school and am focused on keeping calories lower today.
Out of our beliefs are born deeds; out of our deeds we form habits; out of our habits grows our character; and on our character we build our destiny.
I was derailed from the challenge before I even got started, but I've been watching and admiring you all from the sidelines. Meanwhile, driven by both anger and anxiety, I finally did something about a workplace conflict that has been bothering me, and although nothing has been resolved yet I feel a lot better.
