I haven't watched music videos since MTV was a young whippersnapper, so I couldn't tell you what videos I liked best.

I have, of course, seen a few artists on YouTube like Tay Zonday of "Chocolate Rain" fame plus Susan Boyle when she was on Britain's Got Talent, but not much more than that.

I understand that, last night, one American Idol contestant sang Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah. Here is the song by Cohen himself.

The video appears to be from the concert that was broadcast in PBS.

It is not a video but this guy plays the electric violin.
www.hudistudios.com

One of his songs plays on his webpage. That is not a full orchestra, it is just him and his violin.

I see him 2 or 3 times a year at Native American Pow Wows.

Reba video of "Does He Love You"

Concert version with Linda Davis (a singer Reba discovered)

This was at an awards show and Reba did not realize her dress was quite so reavling until the show. She said in an interview that her first thought was, "Oh!, my mama is gonna kill me!" Big Grin . If you mention "the red dress" to most die hard fans they know which one you mean. Wink

This was my "theme song" when I went back to college at age 55 Wink
"Is There Life Out There?"

There is also a full length made for tv movie of this song.

This one will give you two songs for one Wink

She Thinks His Name Was John

Without knowing it, I have been listening to a Leonard Cohen written song since the '70s - "Bird on a Wire", sung by Joe Cocker. That's a really nice blues-rock version. I have that particular Joe Cocker album both on CD, and on those "black disk thingies" that they used to sell music on.Smiler I don't have any wax cylinders in my music collection though. (grin)

I love Suzanne. I know his songs from other artists singing them. When I actually heard him singing his own songs, I was surprised.

I knew him, Sheltieguy, from a tribute album by Judy Collins. I knew the name, but didn't know the music until about 2 years ago. And I'm an old lady!
